It won't be a popular view but I can't see him really making it to the levels Michael Jackson or Nigel Bell did.

He is willing and he's strong and I've seen speed and I've seen some good passes but he needs to show that more consistently to really cement his position in the team.
I would have said LF was the best place for him but unfortunately he'll be beaten by players with good passing ability or bigger work rate. He needs to show he has one of those or simply accept he's a prop and work on his explosive power and footwork. He can't rely on sheer size like some can so not going to be easy for him.

I'm sure if we go down this year he will be a fans favourite but I think in Super League he will be a good fringe player. Better than a lot, but not able to displace the bigger players like SCruton, Anderson, Kirmond and Washbrook.

I understand 16 players are out of contract so where ever we are another seasonal rebuild will have to be undertaken.

Chris Riley, Jacob Miller, Tim Smith, Paul McShane, Danny Washbrook, Pita Godinet, Matty Ryan, Jon Molloy, Ian Kirke, Chris Annakin, Kyle Trout, Joe Arundel, Ben Kavanagh, Kevin Locke & Anthony Walker are all out of contract this time.

Jarrod Sammut & Lopini Paea were also OOC but of course they have left.

Thought he had a cracking game last night. Aggressive, enthusiastic and plenty of go forward. Got put on his backside few times and still came back for more.

Agree totally. He gave us some massive impetus when he came on and stuck at it.

He was exactly the right type of forward for the game last night. Yes he gets put on his backside sometimes but if you were a hull player you would get sick of tackling the guy. Plus with his speed and strengh I imagine it's quite energy sapping just to stop him.

Newtons 3rd Law

For every action there is an equal and opposite reaction

If Annakin brings the ball out with loads of energy and force then the opposition need to match and overcome that to stop him and put him down.
That requires them to expend a lot of energy!

The one thing Smith needs to teach him though, is to run at a gap not a man.
He is great at hitting the line but if he could improve his footwork to be able to hit the gap he'd break more often than not.
He hasn't got the size to bounce people out of the way. He clearly hurts them and gets the yards but anyone tackling with hands would struggle.
He needs to watch Washbrook..........but of course he may actually be able to do it if he played back row.

He also needs to learn how to play the ball I know touching the foot is optional but he appears just to jump over it for some strange reason.
