Well what a surprise, Trinity written off before it starts. Bring it on! Now is the time to show what we can do, no more excuses, no more waiting until the next game to get it right, we HAVE to do it now otherwise it's ... well we know what could happen and it's not a nice thought. I am cautiously optimistic we can do it and if we don't then we only have ourselves to blame. Come on Wakefield!

The interview from Blake Solly makes you wonder if he needs a SL team to be replaced by a championship club just to prove the new format as a success story.

I think there is a strong possibility that two SL teams could be replaced by Bradford and Leigh.

That could well happen if WTW and Salford don't get their act together.

Another thing the RFL are pushing is attendance figures for next season. They will go up this year due to the top eight playing each other at least 3 times. Maybe they have another hidden agenda to push attendances up further by the inclusion on Bulls and/or Leigh ?

It should be decided on the field but we all know how that can be manipulated.

That's the whole idea of the 8s.I don't think it will happen, but it makes for a very interesting end to the season.

So we play H K R away after the C C final. They will either be down in the dumps, or presenting the cup to the fans. Not sure what I would prefer.

It has already built more interest than RL has had towards the end of a season since, well, since the last time we had P&R whether a Champ team gets up or not. There is still a big financial difference between the leagues despite the increased funding so the system is still weighted slightly towards the ex-SL (for now) clubs.
