Ever since Webster resigned and Mr Carter brought to our attention that some players' did not want to play for the coach, it entered my mind that just maybe some of the players were split over this and did not want to play for each other, I say this because a couple of the players have accused others in print of not performing for the coach, and where as in the past the players have been a tight knit unit I fear that the togetherness might not be as strong, now all of a sudden if we believe the rumours one of our consistently better player's
has in effect asked to leave the club, I hope I'm putting 2 and 2 together and making 5 but I can't help thinking maybe the problems are a bit deeper than we think.

Of all the players I've seen this year, he is the least likely to be one of the ones MC was talking about when he implied some needed to go.
I guess he may be upset about Webster leaving but it's unlikely to be at this stage so quickly.

Hope it isn't true anyway. I'd build a team around our front row of Anderson, McShane and Scruton. There are teams with much more money would be happy with that front row.

Where does it say that McShane is wanting away ?

It reads to me that Salford have made the request to take him on loan and we have not agreed to this. Maybe we turned the request around and said that we'd like Fages on loan.

Don't read into a tweet from a Manchester journalist something that may not be there.

Exactly and as Dewsbury have recelled Godwin Salford are light in that area

My thoughts exactly - in this world of instant news and lazy journalism, a tweet from some Manc no-mark is hardly a basis on which to decide that there is unrest in the squad; he probably got half a snippet from the Salford board and turned it into news.

I've always rated McShane but we've just taken Brad Dwyer back from his London loan and he has signed a contract until 2017. Very similar type of player and we all hope Clark is now going to come good after his small op.

If the chairman announces that he will listen to any player who wants to leave I can't believe that some of you are so naive to believe that other clubs will not come in for our players. He has given basically a big sale sign on all our squad both those he considers committed and those not.
This interview could be one of the defining points and could put the final nail in our SL existence. I guess he was angry at Webster's departure and this highlights that chairman should not get involved with team matters because no one with an understanding of human nature would make such a statement to the press.
I guess this will be the first of many rumours regarding our playing staff.

When a team who are low on confidence,foot of the table and with relegation a possibility ,clubs in whatever sport will hover like vultures it's a fact which we will have to live with.Regarding lazy journalism,I've been on the receiving end of lying newspapers who print things in hope that it is right and don't care if they are wrong,hence that is why I never buy the crap,so Id take any stories with a pinch of salt.

Not bought a newspaper for years they are full of inept lazy journalism no doubt the club will have more stories going round due to the circumstances at the moment and you can bet your last dollar if someone on here made a storey up it would be gospel news in no time
