How quickly some of you forget. He has the smallest squad, the lowest budget and so we all knew injuries would affect us more than most teams. It was a gamble which unfortunately as backfired.

If I have one question regarding our coach is why leave Sammut out for such a long period. I know one on here suggests it follows the Bradford game, fine drop him for a game or two but what is the rationale in keeping him on the sidelines. To make matters worse we go out and sign Miller, who we all know will only be here one year.

It could be down just to bad luck as Widnes have a lot of injuries aswell but you wonder whether conditioning has had any part to play.

...even with a second team out there seems to be little desire or composure or belief....Wigan running through at will making easy yards even from the start. Feel sorry for those paying to see that.

Does anyone know if we are actually getting any players back next week. Also does anyone know timescales of players out injured.

Just watching the 'highlights'. Some real poor defence. The Farrell second try was a disgrace.

If this was the 2011 John Kear squad, I'd be more forgiving. But this squad even in its patched up state, is still 10 x better than that.

Why cos i speak honestly wakey lad watched wakey since 1986 im in the when push comes to shove book celebrating winning try v wigan i done the big games both york cup finals prem final v fev but also the long hard one like cup defeats to whitehaven and carlise or even stood got wet through at widnes on a wednesday night when floodlights failed so what i currently live in leeds oh i have two tatoos in regards trinity too

Can't be bagging Webster too much but looking at those tries we conceded tonight the defence was nothing short of shocking. Farrell ran 40 metres without anyone laying a hand on him, Washbrooks 'effort' on Clubb for their 2nd try was abysmal and the way they cut us apart time and again was way too easy. Yes we were missing players but the guys need to show more commitment than that i'm afraid, it is a real video nasty. The points difference may prove to be important and it has taken a fair battering tonight.

Next weeks game against Catalans is crucial, i hope we raise our game accordingly.
