Saw him at Doncaster in his Jolly Rodger days, I was all dolled up in my Sunday best, pixie boots, silk scarf, best pirate jacket. Oh the good old days.

Got into AA when Dirk wears white sox came out, a lot different to the Kings of the wild frontiers era.

Similar path to myself although a little later. Kings of the Wild Frontier introduced me to the band although I had known of car trouble from Dirk. Got into the look for a couple of years - who can forget the school disco's in the early eighties.

Then got into NWOBHM - Saxon, Iron Maiden, Preist, Thin Lizzy and as they say the rest is history. Been a metal-head ever since.
