Well hopefully we will stick to the message we gave them last time that he is not for sale. If they won't accept that and if Danny expresses an interest in going (not sure why he'd want to to be honest but...) then we should make sure they pay a huge fee.

Whatever we think of him on here and Wherever he ends up and whatever he does, I hope the lad gets some professional help, and isn't just cast aside. The consequences of which can be catastrophic.

Exactly, which is why I was surprised by the club statement. "Gareth has been sent home from training and told to sort himself out" All the back room staff they have and yet Hock is told to "sort himself out"

I agree they can but tbh I'd be quite surprised if he hasn't already had help of some sort, considering all the ups and many downs his career has already had. Trouble is the man himnself has to be open to the help and be fully comitted to change otherwise it isn't going to do much good. Last thing we need is another Terry Newton incident.

Team spirit seems to be a big thing for us. I reckon it could be too much of a gamble bringing in a numpty that may upset the apple cart, and probably spend the majority of games banned.

No thanks - the lad's got absolutely no idea how to conduct himself and clearly has no loyalty to the people who have already taken a punt; of all clubs in SL, we can least afford the disruption, or to be paying someone to sit out half the season suspended. Steer clear!

The first post on the Salford board on Hock paints him in a better light, that he ended up doing what he did because he was frustrated at the way they were playing, and that he is interested in Leigh because of the good things he has heard about Paul Rowley. Locke supposedly wants to go to Scottish RU and Puletua is unhappy. Sounds to me like Harris is losing the dressing room, and Hock's actions might be a symptom of that.

Harris might be losing the dressing room, who knows but I'm not inclined to give Hock any wriggle room, not with his past history. Even if you are frustrated with the coach you still shouldn't act like he did and has done in the past.

As far as Puletua, he might be unhappy because he hasn't been picked so far and Locke going to RU in Scotland might be a cash thing, who knows tbh.

As a player Harris was one of the best, that's why clubs paid top dollar for him, but it does not automatically make him a good coach, I'm sure that he's learned a lot from the good coaches he's worked under plus his own knowledge of the game, but for me the one and a very important part of his coaching ability is his lack of man management skills. he comes across as very aloof and if he cannot communicate with the younger players and encourage them, give em a bit of tlc a bit like JK did, then he should not be surprised if they don't play for him.
