So. Remind me, why the rules for this cup comp are so complicated?
I looked after the Leeds match and noticed that it could work out strangely if HKR won,...
but that wouldn't happen, would it?
Anyway, controversial results coming your way.
Attendance #1 = 11107
Attendance #2 = 13049The results:
LG83 2 v chissitt 3
Tricky2309 2 v Dreadnaught (Little Leon)* 2*goes through on being closer to attendance.
Congratulations to our finalists:
chissitt
Dreadnaught (Little Leon) Analysis:
Semi Final
Player - Pts.- Att.1 - Error #1 -Att.2 -Error #2 -Total Error
LG83 - 2 - 13000 - 1893 - 12000 - 1049 - 2942
chissitt - 3- - 13624 - 2517 - 12391 - 658 - 3175
Tricky2309 - 2 - 14867 - 3760 - 14455 - 1406 - 5166
Dreadnaught (Little Leon) 2 - 14452 - 3345 - 12697 - 352 - 3697
Controversial?
Dreadnaught predicts no winners, but still goes through?
2 points for being within 500 of one attendance and then closer to overall attendance
Chissitt predicts the same number of winners as LG83 and is further away from the attendance overall, but still goes through?
1 point for being within 1000 for one attendance even though further away altogether.
I suppose it gives some of the unpredictability of a cup competition.
Maybe we simplify the rules next time?
Anyway. Back to the league. Or more like the start of a new phase.
Still at least 70 points available, so still to be decided.
As Wakefield are in the middle 8s we'll just use those fixtures. (and Sheffield for AG9
)
Only 4 fixtures each week, so important to pick up those bonus points.
Rules as before.
Fixtures for 8s Round 1 :
Leigh v Hull KR
Bradford v Sheffield
Halifax v Widnes
Salford v Wakefield
Deadlline: Sat 8th @ 3pm
Good Luck
