Away at Warrington, went down 42.24.some good performances today from a young side against a well drilled Wire side.Showed a bit of inexperience when defending their try line out wide on the last takle which led to a couple of soft tries but, overall I was pleased with how they are working as a team in defence and attack. The also scored the best 2 tries of the game and the individual skill from Wakeys number 7 to score was worth the entrance money it's self, outstanding .But we ll done to all involved and keep improving

Was the No7 Christian Ackroyd?
Without knowing either line up its hard to be sure of the performance but at face value it looks like a decent effort. Reason being, Warrington do very little below U16s but get the cheque book out to fill their Academy U19s with some of the very best tallent from other clubs Youth programmes, the result being a very strong U19s.
So while 42 - 24 looks like a bit of a touch up, when set in context it probably isn't.

True Avenger, the result does look like it was all Wire but 2 or 3 wire try's at least could have been prevented,I think you and myself could have got nearer .the pleasing thing for the eye was we didn't play one man rugby and threw the ball about and created at times problems, when it didn't we got punished, the older end ,Jordan,Max,Swaney,Brad Moules,Declan and Keiron stood up well.I think it is Ackroyd, caused some problems throughout the game and even got a bit of roughing up from Wire, defenately a player with huge prospect in the future.

Morgan Smiths a Wakefield lad who played for Stanley Rangers, joined Rhinos Scholarship at 15 but was offered huge money for a 16 year old by Warrington.

originally he was with Normanton but after a fall out moved to stanley, he's a confident lad who shows it in the way he plays, I have seen him off load to fresh air and then complain that someone should of been there, he's certainly not frighten of pushing the barrier and chancing his arm
