The damaged stand has it's safety certifcates and will be at full capacity for the opening match of the season. They've done well getting that through so quickly.

Out of interest do we know if Belle Vue is still operating at a reduced capacity this season or are we back up to normal?

FYI the stand wasn't damaged - it was the boundary wall to the Princess Street stand. Thank you Mr Box.

It had to be sorted quickly, the locals were hoarding the bricks to launch at the next away team bus.

AFAIK the bricks are at Belle Vue. MC asked Steve Gill if he would take Rich Owen back in a straight swap for the bricks. Steve Gill said "just take the bricks Mick"

The pictures clearly show that the Breeze block wall behind had also come down and some of the fill under the stand had poured out! Maybe it was easier to fix than I thought, but it certainly wasn't just 'a' wall!

Pleased it won't affect our game!
