As usual the people who are supposed to be representing the supporters have told us nothing. You haven't had to sign the official secrets act. In most meetings minutes are taken. If you have nothing to hide let us have them.

holy mother of god.... you really are as stupid as you seem...

I would never have thought that to be possible.

Your idiocy has the potential to do far more damage to the club than the total damage done by owners of the club throughout its history!

We are the biggest City without a professional league football club.
You have to go a long way down the list of cities in England before you find one not in the top 4 leagues and even further for conference.

It's not a problem to me, just saying.

I'm a little bit confused here. As most will know from my previous posts I am 100% behind TRB and the trust. The thing that no one else seems to have picked up on about this meeting is Sir Rodney's statement. Am I imagining things or did he say he hoped some thing would be resolved one way or the other at this meeting. Apologies in advance if I am wrong and once again I hope it ends in a positive outcome.

Yes it's one of those questions that I've looked up before and get different answers because of the difference between the urban population figure of 77k (2001) and the District of 326k (2011). If we just count the City District, no one comes close like you say, especially unlike other Cities/Towns not only we don't have a Pro team, we don't even have a lower Division side now.

There's places like Lincoln who have a team but in the fifth tier of English football who have pop of 96k apparently. I've also heard people say Gateshead which is a Town of around 78k and also have a team in fifth tier and Poole which is probably the biggest Town that doesn't have a Pro Football team only a seventh tier semi Pro side, that Borough has a pop of 155k.

I would imagine 'he hoped' says it all, they all hoped York Court would be doing something decisive this time but ended up with IF this happens, this COULD happen and so on to infinity!!! I.E no straight answers to what happens now.. :(

Don't understand why anyone continues to contribute positive or even neutral info or speculation to these threads? The topic is just Troll fodder and is so predictable it's hard to believe that supposedely intelligent people with the best intent and interest of the club continue to open the door.
Why not lock this and start one sometime in the future headed "1st brick being laid" or "Wildcats begin Belle Vue Upgrade".

I wonder how Colin Mackie felt as he exited the room, I'd wonder how the conversation in his car went as they drove back to the office.

I suspect it was the polar opposite to that which the Trust representatives felt and said!

Totally agree.
Let TRB, IA, Sandalcat and any others involved be applauded and encouraged to continue with their efforts in the hope of (what I personally hope will be an updated Belle Vue -sorry but it's been in my blood for so long) BUT continue in the background.
In the meantime a new season beckons and I am more concerned with what goes on in the green bit in the middle of whatever stadium!

Fair point.
In some ways I'm glad as it gives an opportunity to Trinity to catch the Wakefield public attention but equally Leeds United is a pull as it's not exactly far away.
In reality much as no one would like to say it. If Leeds had developed like Manchester did or as early as Manchester did, we would be regarded like Salford and be part of the Greater Leeds area, rather than have our own identity. It's good that we do, but it also hides some difficulties that will be very difficult for a marketing/branding team to break down.
