The night is dark and full of terrors.

Winter is coming.

It seems that the consortium looking to buy the Bulls want Odsal handing back to them. I'd be a little wary of someone who as a condition of purchase wants Odsal back rather than being prepared to rent from the RFL. Okay it makes them more secure but the RFL allegedly purchased the lease from the Bulls to protect this iconic stadium from predatory Developers.

I'm sure the RFL are clever enough to sell them the lease at market value and place covenants to ensure that it remains used for Rugby League rather than risk someone buying the Bulls cheaply and then selling Odsal for development and making a killing.

If thats true then its even more important they (rfl) hang on to the lease, you would think any predator would be waiting in the wings for the chance to strike.

Or maybe the predator is the one making the bid to save them

as Wakefield fans we should be grateful that we survived and are doing reasonable well and not worry too much about Bradford fate.

just let them get on with what ever they intend to do with the Bulls and keep it in our memory bank for a rainy day

The RFL are advancing them money they would have got later in the season. They helped us in many ways through our admin, and are doing the same here. I'd put more blame at the doors of the administrators for the way this has been dealt with and those who got them in it in the first place.

Can't stand administrators who are always in the press, couldn't name who ours was, they just got on with it.

Have you got connection with the Bulls you seem to know every thing and you are very protective...?? just a question..

consortium my booty, I would be very weary with the last minute inquiry especially these Bradford business men, like you say their intentions may be honorable but looks suspicious when they want to buy the ground back, mind you they haven't much choice have they

the RFL has been so thick it will probably not think of putting conditions in place to protect Odsal from redevelopment

Said that from the start snowie! Whole thing stinks, we go bust Trying to get the stadium we have to have, Cas struggling on the pitch with some sub standard players because of saving cash for the stadium efforts, Bradford situation stinks to high heaven and the more I read the more I hope they get liquidated to hopefully force some kind of change in regards to the pressures the stadium issues raise. I was against franchising and got talked round with talk of financial stability, better international side, improved competitio and improved facilities, well yes the facilities have improved as for the others! Hopefully this will not continue forever and we will get back to being a p & r with minimum standards. I urge anyone to boycott odsal if hood or Caisley have anything to do with a reformed club.
