As some has said Jamal Idris will be on a bit of money. I don't think he is fit for a club like us and I would potentially say that he'll end up being 'home sick'.
Wonder if Steve Gill at Castleford thought he'd pushed his luck far enough at Wakefield with the players he's offloaded here, and decided he'd try his luck at Warrington instead, pity really at least if we'd signed him the off season would have been a bit entertaining on here
Idris epitomises the concept of 'all the gear, no idea.' He's massive, has some skill, but is idle and in comparison to his peers, soft. He'd be a disastrous signing for a club like us.

I get what you are saying but I'd say he is very much the same as Solomona.
The main issue would be keeping his mind on the job and him enjoying his "footy" - if he can't do that on the Gold Coast or Penrith then Wakey is hardly going to be the place for him

Yep I agree with this I thought he was ok at start of season, but it didn't take long for him to become lazy.. Some fans on other boards seem to be biging him up ,but for the money he would be asking!!! Nah. Not for us.. I think we will be running with the centres we already have anyway.

He doesn't come close to Solomona; he started out as a genuine phenomenon - and much like Dave Taylor - was lauded by the Aussie commentators as the next big thing; neither fulfilled anything like their potential and both have fizzled out in the NRL. Any move to SL is an attempt to revive a career that stalled before it really got started.
I've seen Nona play on a number of occasions and he's a very good player who'd suit us down to the ground.
He's got a bit of size for a half but is athletic with it and while not being a devastating defender he doesn't need hiding in the defensive line. He carries the ball at the line and has a very good left and right passing game, his decision making is well evolved while his short attacking kicking game is better than his long territorial kicking.
