As for contract extensions, Collis was given one at the same time as Tim Smith and Kirmond, to stop clubs getting our players on the cheap when we were in the mire.
Ali's has been given to him when his current one is going to expire, so comparing the two contracts is a bit off the mark.

It wasn't a discussion about comparing contracts it was one about comparing injury records. And over the 3 years they have been here they aren't that dis-similar yet nobody was calling for Ali to be released. Collis has had one bad season, in the previous two he didn't miss too many.

If true, makes the sale of Walshaw even more bizarre.
Would love to see Murphy back. Could do a great job for us at centre or full back.

True Mable regarding on a fortune,when Collis,Kirmo,Ali and Anderson were out injured ,it was a 1/3 of our salary cap on the sidelines.Class act though,hope we have the luxury of keeping him.

wow I think you are reading way too much into this, its a totally unsupported rumour and you think Cas fans are saying we can sign anyone we want from anyone who was below us in the table ?. its a rumour end of I think and a poor one at that.

It was of our salary budget, not the league salary cap. And I'm sure there was another player included but can't remember who
