I'd be delighted if it was Tim Smith even more delighted if he's come back for free after we received a transfer fee for him and if Salford are also paying part of his wages then it must go down as one of the best pieces of business ever by a Rugby League Club, right up there with the Spencer/Lyons for Fox/Mason/Rayne/Conway deal.

Just so long as it isn't the resigning of Semi Tadulala trumpeted as "A significant signing of a current International Star".
Remember that coming after the "Most important announcement in the clubs history" at Cedar Court Hotel, which turned out to be the launch of a club lottery.

I missed the first sitting, only by going to the bar to get a pint to take in.

Thankfully I went home, but credit where it’s due, that's how to create a buzz and a sense of anticipation. Club 1873 probably still has more members because of that meeting than it would have had the lottery been launched via a bog standard website or match day announcement.

Well it didn't do it for me, I walked out before the presentation finished and refused to join.
However after the dynamic duo left the club I signed up immediately.
