Most games we have won through our attack but thought tonight we were aggressive and unforgiving in defence and took the ball into contact really well. Our attitude was second to none. That type of attitude wins big games when it's tight at the business end.

To hold any team to six points is a fantastic effort.

Defence is the key at this time of the year & that was outstanding.

I just hope this group of players realise how good they can be.
"What year is this?"

To hold a team like Leeds to 6, even more so. And I agree, if they actually realise that they are up at the top end on merit, they might develop the composure they need at key times to actually shake this competition to its foundations in the next 8 weeks! They had that confidence and composure tonight as well as everything else people have pointed out. 6 more like that and we can watch a miracle game at Old Trafford!!

Indeed. Come on lads...you can do this! Just keep the calm and the focus you had tonight!

We wanted it way more than Leeds did, a full 80 minite non-stop performance which for me was the most complete showing if the season. Wood deserved MOM but they all played well.Great to see, now lets back it up next week at Cas.

Wakey turning the ball over to them on there line killed them, as we hit them with 3 man tackles & hurt them for 80 minutes. I would`nt be surprised to not see Briscoe play again this season in the play offs as he will get the high ball treatment every time from the opposition.

That was just about the best, most complete performance I've seen from a Wakey side in many years; we were cruel, clinical and focused from minute 1 - Leeds ageing stars looked like they'd had enough by half time, and some of their young lads had no idea what to do next.

I can't think of a Wakey player who didn't perform - and because I really like hardworking, unassuming players, I give massive credit to Ashurst - one of the best signings we've made in years; he never puts a foot wrong, and is machine-like in his workrate. Also thought Arona was massive for us. And that's before the more obvious standouts like Miller, Finn and Kyle Wood - who are paid to be flash. Best wishes to Arundel btw - that looked bloody painful.

Totally dominated Leeds last night - if we play like that every week in the Super 8's there's no reason why we can't go all the way. Let's see if we can be consistent when it matters.

Yes, the defence last night really was top drawer at times, and brutal too.

It was typified by the tries of Miller and Ashurst, in not giving into the chase

Don't think Finn has had much of a mention to be honest - kicked em from all over, great link up play and another tough stint in defence.
