I hate joining in blaming the Ref, that is two weeks this ref has been incompetent, overseas players of the NR L must know how bad they are or conversely - poor they are. This bloke is not up to standard, I do not pay my money as a spectator to watch incompetence, they/he & the RFL are killing the game for spectators, yes we won but that does not detract from his sickness which is bound to continue. I can just see us getting this nit wit or witless person reffing us on magic weekend ?

Totally agree. We go to games to see good rugby, not a dreadful refereeing performance!

He was crap last Sunday too, and we have won both games so no sour grapes. I'm sure the Farts supporters will have similar complaints.

The game was flowing well then in steps the ref and made the game a lottery. I’m not one for having a go at the ref but I’d like him to explain lots of them decisions tonight. Hudds couldn’t believe their luck when they realised what they could get away with around the ruck and in the Aussie coached style took full advantage of it. Why can’t the refs just apply the rules and let us watch a game of RL we paid to watch.

Not much better than an idiot, the correct flow of the game decided by players actions were prevented in allowing the game to flow naturally correct reading of play. Refs do get some things wrong & I can accept that ! But tonight, he was too consistent at miss reads, eventually frustrating players, totally inept !

First 10 mins it looked like he was trying to make it a free flowing game, then I don't know what happened after that. Did Leeming deliberately throw the ball at one of our players trying to get out of the way for a penalty?

Yes he did. Our player was crouching low to get out of the way. He could easily have passed it over him, our guy wasn't impeding him at all. He threw the ball downwards at the crouching player, not in the direction of his own player and that chump Mickalauskas pinged us. 6 points for Hudds. A number of other baffling decisions that I will need to watch on Trinity TV to see if it was as bad as it looked from the stand. I'd like to say it's a long time since I have seen a ref that bad but of course it's only a week

I think if/when we have this ref again we need to be taking the 2 at every opportunity. We got a couple of easy ones last night and turned them down (which at the time i thought was the right thing to do), BUT he slows the PTB down so much that it makes for low points scoring games and so anything that is on offer should be taken IMO.
