I suppose it was nailed on we would win last night after last week! Let's just hope Bill and Tom won't be long in coming back. I think it has been interesting so far in that most games are getting harder to predict. I would be amazed if Warrington, Saints & Cas don't finish in the top 4, but I think the other place in that 4 is up for grabs. We obviously have been up and down as re. performances, although having said that, we could have won every game except the London one. Questions......can Salford, London keep up all the way through? Are Wigan & Leeds gonna turn things around? Apart from the 3 at the top, are we 'potentially' the best of the rest??!

Yes,that’s if our best turn up.

Salford look strong and there's no reason they can't keep it up.
London look light and might start to struggle later on into the season unless they can pick up a couple to slot into the pack (possibly bigger names from RU to attract some more fans).
Leeds look the worst I've seen them in a lot of years, I'm not sure where they are going to go from here.
Wigan will probably start to hit some form a our midway into the season, there's too much individual class for them not to find it eventually.
Catalans, Hull FC & Hull KR are all very hit and miss, they have potential, but don't always show it.
Huddersfield look shot, I can't see them doing much this season on current form

I wouldn't say we're the best of the rest, we have some very big issues which need to be resolved first.

As BLM quite rightly says, "that's if our best turn up" there's no reason why we couldnt finish 4th/5th.

Yes interesting as you say, however I do think that Leeds will not put up with constant losses in particular if they only pick up odd wins but remain under relegation threat, indeed coaches & players WILL GO !
As for wigan, the same issues but they look the stronger of the two !
There is however a long way to go yet, we were a 50% win team last year & need to win more than our 13 games & 1 draw = 27 points this year there are 29 games so 50% is 14 wins & a draw, that however may well not be enough for 5th place as the competition is so much stronger !

Bizarrely we've got four home games in a row coming up now, excellent opportunity to push up the league.

You’d think so but our home form has been less than sparkling so far. All things considered I’m happy with the 6 points so far so I’d hope for maybe three wins, two minimum.

I'm not sure Salford will hack it all season, same for London, but good on 'em so far. The rest are very inconsistent, including us. I suppose injuries will play their part, Wigan do have a few to come back, but them and Leeds maybe have to go on a winning 7 out of 9 streak to get into the 4 or 5. We need to make the home games count coming up, we need to nail these close games at home, and win a decent percentage away and I reckon we could get 4th....

At the moment we are not consisted enough - it is one good week one bad week - that wont make the top 5.......

Apart from Saints, Cas & Warrington & none of them have been outstanding, everyone else appears to have the beating of each other if they show up on the day. I’d say we’re plenty good enough to make the top five as this appears to be the most open SL in years.
