Apart from PP and perhaps a fit Kirmonds experience that's about as strong as we can get.

Personally, I think I'd start with Crowther to take the sting out of the attack early on and then bring Fifita, King and Arona on for impact. Possibly all at the same time.

Unfortunate for Jowitt but he had a tough battle for that 1 spot.

It seems that we have Horo, Crowther, Batchelor and Arundell battling for 2 spots.
Unless there is some doubt over Tupou or Lyne, Arundell is likely to miss out, making it 2 from 3.

Crowther is battling for 13 not SR in my opinion.

We might only go with 1 hooker and 4 forwards on the bench until we have fully tested how our pack reacts to the new interchange rule. If thats the case id go with Randel for the full 80mins, Wood and Arundel/Lyne to miss out.

It's a long season PT and if Jowitt doesn't get a sniff it will be because Hampshire had fulfilled the faith put in him. I hope he does.

I get your reasoning but to me London look like a team that could possibly handle an arm wrestle but could easily be taken apart by a clever player like Woody, so I'd stick with two hookers tbh.

I agree, i was just offering it up as an option.

Id personally go with 2 hookers and leave out Horo and Arundel.

Two hookers seemed to worked well for us last season and would go with that combo

See my other post, this was just an option based on CCs comments pre game. He has been very impressed with Arundel in the friendlies.
