I think now everyone has had a few days since Sunday it is time to post about how well the club has handled this sad event.

The fans and the wider public have responded really well to this and the club has done everything possible.

I see the club are going to pay up Danny's contract well this is fantastic.

I would like to see tickets for all home games put on sale now and get messages out there to try and get a good crowd in every game and lets win this league for jonsey. Would be a fitting way to end a sad time at the Cougars and the family.

The support and number of fans who turned up on Sunday from Halifax in particular was very heartwarming and thanks to Halifax for that. At the end of the day we are all one big family of Rugby League and proud to say I am a member of it.

Me too. I was totally overwhelmed on Sunday by the support shown by supporters of other clubs, Halifax in particular, but I also saw plenty of Bulls and Rhinos as well as Wigan, Saints, Cas, Wire, Widnes, Hull FC - I could go on, the list would be a long one. What a wonderful, fantastic effort by all concerned to come to Keighley and show solidarity and support at this incredibly sad time. I don't mind admitting I shed some tears last week and again on Sunday. How strong must Lizzie Jones be to come on the pitch with the twins as she did - how very moving that was. Our club has been absolutely brilliant throughout this tragic period; maximum respect to Gary Fawcett and everyone else involved. I didn't think I could be more proud to be a Keighley supporter; I was wrong. RIP Jonesy - Our number 6 - always with us.
