So, once more, after decades claiming that tries weren't important to enjoying their more 'technical' game, the RU are introducing a bonus points system in the Six Nations based on scoring.....you've guessed it....tries!

This is to encourage more attacking play and make it more attractive to the spectator.

Nice of them to admit we were right all along.

Just seen this myself.

I'd have laughed if it wasn't for the realisation that it's another potential kick in our groin

Bonus points in RU games have been there for well over 20 years. It's nothing 'new'.

You're clutching at straws, as long as the media peddles Union it'll always be more popular than League. Folks won't be turning away from it

The amount of talent in english rugby union is staggering. The national teams 5 choice set of backs would walk into the league national team

Surely it can only be a player from Catalans. Probably the best RL side I have ever witnessed in this season's comp.

Got Scotland v Australia on Tzotzil. Can't say I am watching it but do look up when commentator gets excited. Jeez the standard of rugby is poor. It is utterly pathetic.

They can't do the basics of passing, catching or tackling. Shocking. Under 11 teams have more skill.

The commentators have no shame - so many superlatives for such poop.
