Didn't Brodie Croft have a 7 year deal with Salford about 18 months ago. Now with Leeds, with a good bit of dosh going the other way. Not drawing conclusions - as the coaches do have a long association with Wigan - but interesting point nevertheless.

Hope the success continues. Craig Bellamy is in his 22nd year coaching Melbourne. So stability does work. Peet is only 39. He could go down as one of our longest serving coaches our club has had

Different sport obviously but the Pittsburgh Steelers have had only 3 head coaches since 1969 and have been a successful team in those years. Obviously a bit chicken and egg, but can anyone name a coach who was at a club for a long time, who isn't regarded as a great? Bennett did 20 years at Brisbane. Bellamy as others have pointed out. Clearly (despite that one year away) has been at Penrith since 2012. Fergie, Klopp, Wenger, Pep etc in footy. I really hope Peet does 20 years here and is regarded as our greatest ever coach.
