Liam Farrell has confirmed he’s unlikely to play again this season due to a scapula injury. He doesn’t need surgery but the recovery time is 10/12 weeks.

This is a huge blow. He’s been in great form this season and I’d say we’re about to see what Joe Greenwood is made of. Gutted to be honest.

Bit premature to be talking of grand finals at this point, but 10-12 weeks would mean that he should have healed before the start of October, a fortnight before Old Trafford.

Big, big loss, but wouldn't rule him out of playing again this year just yet.

Obviously a big loss but not in a position we have bad cover in.

Greenwood played his best rugby for saints at left back row

Isa is solid

Hopefully if Sarge gets going Bateman can return to the back row

Paisley is looking good

Sutton/Hamlin have shown they can jump in the second row if needed.

Hope he tries to rehab and get back though

Just had a shoulder replacement due to injuries playing rugby, he has my sympathy, shoulder injuries hurt like hell. Hope he makes a full recovery.

If you don't bother to go to the game when you live in the locality then you are not really a fan and therefore your views are invalid. It's simple.

Huge loss but gives the chance for Paisley/Greenwood to step up to the mark
RIP Leon Walker

I have greatest respect for Rugby Union, they started it mid-way through the 19th century. Thankfully we grabbed it and turned it into a spectacle on 29th August 1895
