It just doesn’t seem morally or professionally right to me. A ‘temporary’ head coach for 2019 would need to stamp his mark, play the style he wants, sign his players and then it’s all change again in 2020. It’s either Edwards next season or not at all IMHO.
If he won’t be Head Coach until 2020 then we walk away. Simple as that.
I am just letting you know what I have heard is happening the moral or professional aspects are not being discussed.
Lam will be the main coach 2019 and Edwards will work along side but not in public view until 2020 maybe we will end up following the Leeds Rhinos director of rugby style.

In reply to last son of Wigan, just to confirm that this is not BS I will tell you who the source was. It was his Uncle's, wifes' second cousins godson who is an altarboy at St Mary's, is that close enough for you. Believe what I have said if you wish to or not, all I know is that I WAS told by someone very close to SE, the details I have already stated, I KNOW the facts to be unfortunately true, I say unfortunately because I would love to see him back at Wigan, but I can't imagine the funds required to achieve this will be forthcoming.

That’s fair enough but equally there is a moral and professional viewpoint which I wanted to bring into the discussion.
As I’ve said; for me it’s either Edwards for 2019 or not at all.
