Yeah it seems he had an option for another year which the club have taken up. They’ve shown great faith in the lad to be fair and I really hope he gets back to where he was 2 years ago.

Glad we’re standing by him. Fingers crossed he comes back and plays well enough to get the long term deal I’m sure he’d have had sewn up by now if it wasn’t for the injury.

It’ll be great just to see him on the field regardless of performance.

I wonder if we’ll stand by Liam Forsyth in the same way? He’s out for the season with a knee injury and in the last year of his contract if memory serves me rightly?

I’d guess probably not and that will obviously come down to performance pre injury. I suppose you earn your rewards via the money in the bank you've built up.

It’s a shame really. I thought he did ok in a seriously depleted side and I’d hoped to see him with some experience and quality around him.

Can’t wait to see Dom back on the pitch. Glad we’ve sorted the contract. Would be a shame to see him running in the tries for someone else next year.

Hope he can get all the way back.

I think this is a mistake.

He was a very good player, but he's not been fit for two years.

Spend the money elsewhere.

Many of our Saints friends said the same about Lomax. Look how that turned out in the end.

I hope he’s fully recovered, it must have been soul destroying, especially with the attempted come back that failed.

If he has recovered and can regain the confidence in his knee we have a top class winger waiting to come back into the side.
