Ah! I'm with you. I think I took the post a different way than you intended it. I agree regarding Sam. I think ultimately it's the fact that he clearly wants to take up the Catalans offer that makes all other arguments moot. I would have loved to have kept him at the club but equally I do think the club are right to say not at the price it would have taken to keep him. He has been the highest earner in Superleague for the entirety of his last contract but has never, during it, been the best player in Superleague. Let's be honest, he's yet to be the best player at our club during it, never mind in the whole of the league. I think that speaks volumes really.
