Our passive line speed and lack of intensity in defense for the past 2 weeks has meant we have lost the territory battle which means we spend all our time in attack coming away fro mour line.

Both Souths and wire taught us a lesson in this area.

This has to change,. To suggest this is an energy saving tactic is ridiculous. The amount of energy you save is more than taken up by the amount of defending and having to clear your own line with the ball that leaves the players "gassed" as wane calls it.

Intensity In defence and line speed is taught at u7s.

We should be fit enough without having to resort to energy saving ridiculous tactics.

Couldn't agree more Tricky.
I have been pretty critical of our displays in the past few seasons but after the Salford & Hull games I thought or at least hoped that we were getting back to "basics".
I still that our pack is too small and lacks the grunt to be a formidable unit however, I was hoping that at least we would be giving it a go every match from the first minute.
If I'm honest all this "scientific" approach and the number of substitutions available does my head in. We have too many players who seem incapable of doing more than 15 to 20 stints which I find bewildering.

Sutton will be released by his NRL club quicker than you can say Salford, Wakefield or Widnes. They’re his standard and where he’s destined for once he’s had a 12 month pay day in Aus.

Probably a better standard than Wigan atm all of them!

Being in a Grand Final only matters if you win, if your not first your last

Totally agree with you for once! :D

My point being that I’d still reasonably argue that Wigan is a higher calibre club than any of those mentioned above my comment!

No doubt we are a class above, just at the moment the class is being strangled by an inept coach
