I've heard a RUMOUR that Zak and Chase were both seen in a coffee shop in Wigan earlier this year with an agent?! no sources, just word on the grapevine so can't back it up or explain why they'd both be in wigan.

Are you sure the said coffee shop wasn't in Amsterdam?

I remember Rupert Grint going in there for a coffee but I don’t think we were looking to form a quidditch team

that's not the point... why would they be there, together, with their agent? and this is reported to have occurred around the time the interest from wigan seemed to come out into the open.

i'm not saying I believe it or that anything came of it, or even that it did happen, i'm just passing on the message in the hope that someone could shed some more specific and valid light on it.

Most idiotic post ever goes to Grimmy..... The way to restart should be an arm wrestle between a designated player from each side.

*Rangi Chase and Zak Hardaker signing for Wigan at Central Park*

Rangi "I'm parched."
Zak "Yes, but as everyone knows, you don't get offered coffee when you go to meet the Chairman of a rugby club at their headquarters."
Rangi "Shall we go for a coffee in Pemberton on the way to the motorway, or stop at a services?"
Zak "No, let's go in the opposite direction away from the motorway, and go to a popular coffee shop next to the stadium. This is perfectly logical and won't upset our new employers."
Agent "I have no issue with this, and will join you"

*Afterwards*
Rangi "Wow, how amazing that we managed to sit in a popular coffee shop next to Wigan's stadium, and not one person took a photograph and put it on social media."
Zak "Yes, almost seems unbelievable."
Agent "Is that Rupert Grint? Reckon I can branch into quidditch."

So that's why the Orrell pitch is in the state it's in and we haven't been able to get a reserve, U19 or U16 game played there. Get him sacked.

Interesting comments at the ‘Meet the Directors’ evening last night.
1. Steve Gill said he showed “no remorse” for his actions.
2. He was offered a pre-contract deal in January but turned it down.
3. His behaviour since his suspension contributed to Cas’ decision to dismiss him.

It has been noted that there is a sporting precedent to sue Hardaker to recoup the cost of his transfer fee and any fee spent on a replacement.

1. http://www.independent.co.uk/sport/gene ... 90136.html

Why would Cas offer him a contact id 1 and 3 are true?
Really ambiguous statement from Gill.

As I've said previously I don't want Hardaker anywhere near Wigan, but those comments line up at all.
