Rovers don't have a Reserve side, so some of their fringe 1st team and youngsters have played for Saints Reserves this season

That kinda takes away from the main reason for reserve games, in my view. I'd much rather see it used for fringe youngsters that are just too old for the U19s, rather than (perhaps) fading existing ones.
