John Bateman, Joe Burgess, Tony Clubb, Morgan Escaré, Liam Farrell, Ben Flower, Anthony Gelling, Oliver Gildart, Willie Isa, Thomas Leuluai, Liam Marshall, Frank-Paul Nuuausala, Sean O’Loughlin, Sam Powell, Ryan Sutton, Taulima Tautai, Lewis Tierney, Joel Tomkins & George Williams.
That's the strongest squad we've named for a long while which is good to see. I'm happy to see Liam Marshall in there because I've rated him for a while (even though he probably won't play).
With next week in mind I don't think we can get both Clubb and Tautai match fit in one game and Clubb is just the sort of player I'd like to throw at the Aussies.

Reading the Clubb man blogs , Clubb didnt confirm if we was fit for the start of the season, hopefully he is.
Some scientists claim that hydrogen, because it is so plentiful, is the basic building block of the universe. I dispute that. I say there is more stupidity than hydrogen, and that is the basic building block of the universe.

Most idiotic post ever goes to Grimmy..... The way to restart should be an arm wrestle between a designated player from each side.
With an eye on the Cronulla game I'd give Bateman a rest and just use Lockers for 15 mins off the bench to spell Powell. We don't want Bateman getting banned (see McIlorum sent off in a dead rubber against Saints a week before the play offs in 2012) or Lockers getting injured (see Lockers getting injured v Huddersfield at home in 2015 when the game was already won, the week before the WCC). This would give both Isa and Joel a chance to stake a claim for a bench spot the following week.

Who are we missing out that 19?
Sam Manfredi Micky Mac
It's been a while since we only had three out. Heard Dom is out until the playoffs at best, what's the forecast on Sam & Micky? Easter?
April by all accounts for Tomkins and Micky Mac. Reading between the lines in Wane's interviews it seemed Micky Mac may be more front end of April and Tomkins at the back end.
I have a feeling Liam Marshall will play on Saturday. All the interviews with playing and coaching staff have mentioned how well he has performed in pre-season training.

I'd like to see it but I can't see who it would be in front of. Maybe Joe Burgess if he's still not 100%? He only played 30 minutes at Catalans (and Gildart didn't play at all thinking on so may a shuffle around).
You a fan of Marshall Rogues? I've seen him 3 or 4 times at u19's level and he's been electric. He also went very well for Swinton last year by all accounts.

He's an excellent finisher and tough. However I'm not sure about him defensively, but as I said, he has had a lot of praise from different personnel at the club, so he must be doing something right to impress so many.

He has, I've seen a number of interviews with different players and coaches where they've picked him out as the one to watch for this season.
It would be good to see him really kick on and take any chance he gets because the squad could do with another outside back to add some depth.
