On big money signings like Tommy Lee and Marty Smith of course!
In all seriousness though as I posted when Saints signed players like Tommy Lee and co, I think that's a worry for the game as a whole. If a big club like Saints can only muster rejects then the game as a whole can't be in a great shape. The more scary thing is I actually think the players they've signed will be good enough to improve them and take them close to honours.
This deal for the stadium just adds to those fears for the overall game.Yes the figures may be ok by modern standards but have some dignity!

I don't think many people are happy at Saints, with either the name of the ground or the calibre of two players, you have mentioned, I certainly am not, but the figure i have heard for the naming rights of the stadium were far to good to turn down, Matty Smith will be ok, as he was for you, a player who probably is only truly respected by his peers.

NK here is the conundrum. How much is this record sponsorship actually worth. If it's so good why not release the figure? Did Langtree actually pay anything for the naming of the stadium or was it part of contract for building the stadium?
Saints new kit sponsors for their home kit is actually a company who has as one of their major shareholders a major shareholder and director at Saints, Mike Coleman. In effect Saints are sponsoring themselves as they couldn't get a major shirt sponsor when Typhoo pulled out.

Warrington led 16-2 in Saturday's Grand Final, but their joy was short-lived as Wigan roared back to win the Super League title and extend the Wire's 58-year wait to be champions
