90% sure he'll be picked, he's served his time so to speak and will come back hungry and stronger imo, also with our injures to forwards he's got even more of a chance of playing

I have it on good authority that all is well again. The players have accepted Bateman's apology and have been spending time together after training.

Good news if true. Sutton has gone well in that second row slot but having Bateman back will be a definite boost

I think he'll play from the bench for a few weeks. The two lads in that second row in Sutton and Isa have gone well and Wane has already spoken about not forgetting what the players have done during the 8 match winning run recently.

If he's on the bench or starting though I don't really mind. It'll be great to have him back.

Hopefully he's still his old aggressive self but isn't overly aggressive on Friday to make up for his absence as no doubt Louis McCarthy mouth breather will try and wind him up.

Most of the time on the field I think he plays with well controlled aggression and that shouldn't change. He seems to have issues away from the field but on it he's got an excellent rugby brain and looks a good leader.

The way things are looking with injuries and suspensions we're going to need huge performances from the likes of him and Tomkins in the semi.
