Great first half, sh*te second but we're in the semis that's all that matters. That Manfredi "try" made it even sweeter. Cas can get f*cked! Such an arrogant club considering how small they are.

I don't get too excited about coaches say after a game. It's what happens in t pitch that counts, and that was a convincing win. Good defence, and not too many pens conceded either. Sam and Josh excellent, and TT maintained his recent good showings.

What is it with this Cas dislike of Wigan. It seems to border on hatred which is strange because it's hardly like they've been a rival for trophies over the years. To us Cas are just a small club that punches above it's weight by finishing mid table each year and having the odd decent run in the cup yet the way they blabber on about us you think we'd been having full on pitch battles for honors with them each year.

Cas should be thankful for the 8 months we've given them to plan for 2017 now that this season is over.

Scathing.

It's definitely small club mentality, anyway back on topic I thought we were near perfect first half and took the foot off the gas in the second. The game was never really in danger of going away fom us after half time. Looked like the 'watering the pitch' at half time tactic worked then!

Don't think anything has been confirmed yet - would expect our game to be played on the Saturday at Doncaster.

As for the game today, you couldn't fault the first half - the best we've played this year I think. Sam Tomkins is all class.

Hopefully we will be in a position in the semi to have some bigger bodies back to take on Hull's pack. Burke and Bretherton did a job today but we will need a bigger impact off the bench to match them up front. We know Bateman and Nuauasala will be available then and maybe Farrell and Crosby - hopefully we won't pick up too many other injuries in the games leading up.

If you don't bother to go to the game when you live in the locality then you are not really a fan and therefore your views are invalid. It's simple.

I think it is rooted in the battle for relegation a few years ago.
Wigan looked to be going down and signed Michael Dobson and Stuart Fieldon. They were subsequently punished for a salary-cap related reason (let's not get into the technicalities of it), and many Cas fans therefore feel Wigan cheated to avoid relegation at Cas' expense.
For some, it may go back to Wigan tempting our one-time star player Danny Orr away from Cas.

PS - our season isn't over. We are not mathematically in the top 8 yet (particularly if Salford's appeal against their points deduction is successful).
