OMG make no wonder everyone thinks that Wigan are arrogant
Gelling has Guaranteed in the League Express that Wigan will make this years GF

How does that mentality and rationale work?
Gelling's comment may prove to be correct and we may actually make the GF
But how can anyone Guarantee in May that any side will make it?

What do you guys think of his statement?

Fair play to him. If all players at all the other clubs don't have this belief then it says more about them not him.

He's not playing with a full deck. We all know that and many love that about him. Is he serious? Who knows with that fella but one thing is for sure-it doesn't make us all arrogant and I'm convinced 99.9% of Wigan's fans know just how tough it will be to reach the Grand Final (as it has been to reach the last three).

I would imagine that players at certain SL sides do all have this belief that they will make ALL of the major finals each season
But to come out and Guarantee that your side will actually make the GF is not something that sensible players/coaches would say,so imo i think that Gelling is on a hiding to nothing and that his club won't be too happy either with him

It does sound arrogant to me as a neutral

If Wane, one of the Tomkins brothers or O'Loughlin had said it I'd expect meltdown on this board with other teams fans calling us rotten.
But it's Gelling and everyone knows he's a sandwich short of a picnic, nothing to get concerned about

We have made the final over the last three years, so its not that arrogant at all.
