People moan that the game doesn't have characters anymore and that all the interviews are basically the same. Lets not hang the guy for saying something a bit different and having confidence in himself and his teammates. Whatever you say about him he does work hard to help his team win games, so I find it hard to believe he will be complacent.

No i'm not prepared to bet 5 months' wages on anyone making the GF, let alone a very underperforming Warriors side.

If he, or anyone else, is not prepared to back up their claims with their own hard cash they should keep quiet or give an interview about something that is more relevant - like why we are so one dimensional this season, and why the players gave up midway through the game against Wakefield.

What is the problem here?
The various prancing ponies in boxing routinely trash-talk their opponents. About the only thing in wendyball that merits interest is the mind-games and boasting about this or the other.
Lots of people on here (as per usual) are vying to be professional whinger of the season.
Perhaps we shouldn't bother with fantasy league, just open a book on who's the most annoyingly misanthropic @rs3 - alongside the against-all-the-odds happy clappy optimist, obviously.

I hate it when our club is portrayed in an arrogant manner
IMO Gelling has acted like a bell end by coming out and making this brash statement even if he is a 100% village idiot

ATM we're certainly not good enough to be making such bold predictions about being Guaranteed to make the Grand Final
You certainly wouldn't see class personnel like Lockers making these ridiculous statements

I hope his comments don't come back to bite us on the backside
