I don't think the problem is with dummy runners learning to run better lines. I think defenders have become smarter at getting blocked and making it look like they're being obstructed. Which is exactly what happened in the NRL at the weekend.

Well, yes, that does happen, as I said. And refs need to be a bit more street-wise about it. Still think there's room for improvement in dummy runners' lines in SL.

Interesting to see that the Rabbitohs are struggling this year with the sainted Madge not really moving on a great deal from his original plays and methods. Maybe he is missing his old assistant coach too???!!!

The Rabbitohs were never my favourite team, but they have been especially dire this season so far. I think that's pretty undeniable. They lack guile in the halves, for a start, which doesn't help.
