Been reading the interview in the match program. He's teetotal and seems like he's dedicated to improving himself and working hard. Sounds like he is very down to earth and has his head screwed on the right way. I think his attitude will fit in well with Wane's expectations of a player.

Says he sees himself as a forward now despite starting in the centres which is a pity as I'd like us to have other options than Gelling and Sarge besides Gildart who are actual centres not forwards like Joel or Bateman.

Yes, thought he looked very good last night. The large amount of strapping on his thigh is possible a little (little) concerning. I do agree that he could be a HH type player though.

Disagree with this. I think Faz Joel and Bateman are 3 of the best edges for attacking the line. 2 of which have been quick enough to play centre, with Faz often causing defenders issues with his footwork and speed.

With his socks rolled down and his running action, he reminded me of Sam Panapa. He turned out alright

Went very well and I think he surprised a few last night. Wane always says he looks for players he thinks he can improve and on last nights showing he seems a good acquisition. One swallow does not make a spring but our back row looks very strong now.
