Ye he'll miss what, 7 or 8 games? We can cope with that the important thing is he makes a full recovery.

No one think that NZ just weren't bothered about his rehab once they knew he wanted to leave?

Sam's been back in the UK for weeks, why asit taken his long to find out?

Sam only became a Wigan player officially on 1st November, so I guess they couldn't actually do anything until after that date. I believe he was told that it would not need to be operated on when in NZ, just rehab and strengthening of the muscles around the knee. Just thankful it's not the ACL.

Why was he in the England squad if he's still 4 months off being ready to play? There will be a lot of pressure on him returning from so long out injured and expected to be a world beater

It's the loss of a pre season which really worries me. We've seen it a million times where a player might miss 8 or so games but it also takes another 8 or so games to find fitness and form.

A lot of smoke and mirrors re his inclusion in the England squad . He should have never been anywhere near it . Don't know who they think they were kidding .
