What a harsh thread. Here's an idea - why not wait until you've actually read it before passing judgement?

Respect is a two way thing, and I think Mr Hock has shown very few people, very little of that. I stand by thinking him a selfish...

It has the potential to be a good read. He's certainly one of the characters of the modern game and, for one reason and another, has been involved in many incidents at many clubs.

hopefully it's well written because most rugby related auto/biographies have been terrible.

This was trailed about a month ago in the MEN in a bit of a saccharine write-up and allegedly has quotes & contributions from all over the place. Although if they asked IL, I bet they didn't include it.
I can't see the point of this except as an attempt to stir up stuff that really has been thrashed to within a gnatt's scrotum of mind-numbing tediousness. But I suppose we'll see.

Still maintain that Hock is simply the current example of how not to win friends and influence people. A proper waste of a career.
But if this sheds any light on whether it's down to his own self-destructive idiocy or if there's evidence of being led astray and he's simply a weak-willed fool, then it might be worth spending 50p in the ASDA bargin bucket in the new year.

I have a feeling it will be a combination of all three.

Not much chance of it being well written seeing the original poster is the ghost writer

Could have been the best 2nd row of his generation.

He had more than his share of support.

There comes a time where you have to take responsibility for your own actions and not lay the blame on others otherwise you waste whatever talents you may have .

Unfortunately Hock wasted his considerable RL talents .

I hope it isn't just at moan that Wigan/Koukash/Salford treated him shabbily and he was whiter than the coke he snorted. He had the ability to be the best English second row forward Wigan have had since Bill Ashurst.
