Yes of course, county cricket clubs tend to belong to the wider county rather than one specific town. Yorkshire used to play everywhere from Middlesbrough to Sheffield including the annual Scarborough festival.
Glamorgan are the only ones to my knowledge who take a game on the road, so to speak. They play Lancashire at Colwyn Bay. I wonder if their chairman has any link to IL?
