I agree I wouldn't be wanting to throw him in over the next few weeks, particularly as Bateman isn't letting anyone down slotting in at centre. But an injury to Bateman or Tomkins during the Super 8's leaves us very thinly spread in the SR and centres.

Very early days but I hope we are monitoring Tupou. Hopefully it will not happen but should Wakefield go down he could be a nice addition to our squad.

comfortable at centre or wing very powerful unit and impressive defence. As stated above it's very early to judge off 1 game so would need monitoring but he was impressive in a losing effort against the Giants yesterday. In the second half the Giants put a lot of energy and effort into stopping the ball getting to him.

I'm actually pretty gutted he is leaving wigan full stop.

lets not forget the guy has scored something like 30 tries in 40 games for us in the last few years and he had been in fine form until the first of his big injuries a couple of years back. and more importantly he is an actual centre by trade (correct me if I'm wrong).

pretty sure Wane is either going to be stubborn and insist on bringing in a youth player whether he is any good or not, or the club has something planned for next season, as surely we cannot be operating in this league (and cup) with only one first team recognised centre in Gelling.

I sense more bad planning on the cards. we need replacements, not stand ins!
