Has anyone else had a problem with their season ticket not letting them in?

Tonight mine "went red" instead of green and I had to get a paper ticket from the ticket office. I had my son's season ticket with me as he could not go and they checked that and it was stuffed as well.

The person in the ticket office spoke to someone on the phone and said a number of season tickets have been issued with duplicate numbers so now I am waiting for new season tickets to be posted for Friday!

That happened with mine last night. Brought it to the attention of the gateman, and he waved me through - this was about 15 minutes before kick off.
I was going to see if this happened again next week on the basis it was a one off 'rogue' occurance before getting in touch with the club via e-mail.
Problem didn't happen at the Huddersfield and FC games, so may fire off a mail on Monday in view of the above.

Mine as well. The girl at the ticket office said it had been deactivated as I'd upgraded to exec seating - I said that's news to me! Took ages to sort out, eventually she gave it me back and said it was reactivated, and I got in no problem. Then I found somebody sat in my seat with a printed ticket for it - good job one of my mates didn't come so we could all shove along one. Going to ring the ticket office on Monday to double check mine's still OK - don't want anyone sat in my seat on Good Friday!!

I got my seat OK but there is a vacant one alongside my two and a couple turned up with printed tickets, so my son's seat had been sold for the game.

I will also be ringing tomorrow to find out what is going on. We have had these seats for years and there is no way some ticketing screw up is going to change that.

Mine wouldnt work but took it to the ticket offixce on Saturday and they said it was fine and nothing wrong with it.

The reply I've received back from the club states that the problem is understood to be with the turnstiles rather than the cards themselves. It's been passed on to the stadium safety team, and should be sorted for Friday.

I rang up today and asked for my ticket to be checked - the guy who answered checked and said it was activated ok and will be ok on Friday. What happens if someone's bought a ticket and is in your seat? Who gets to stay there?

Should be in reality the season ticket holder.
