Having just watched the catalans v dire wire game i dont know what the fuss is about ashton sims everytime ive seen him he seems to get dominated just like last week against St George on this form im glad we didnt sign him

Assuming you mean half-back, there's no arguably about it. No other half in SL in the same league as him.

Any back really.

He's arguably, when on form, the closest 6 to Thurston who himself is a once in a generation player.

No other back in SL would have a realistic shot at being the best in the world.

Oh well best in the World is different.

In terms of backs I'd comfortably say Hall and Watkins when on form are World Class. If they were playing in the NRL they'd be talked about a lot differently.

Anyway going back to Ashton Sims, yes he does look a bit of a pudding at the minute but reckon he will come good.

Certainly no worse than our props (except Clubb) so far this year.

Ryan Hall is still the Worlds best winger and by some clear distance too

The thing with Sims is he was always going to be a target due to his reputation as a hot head.

I've only seen bits of Wire so far but he's not stood out. There pack is fine overall and Clark will be massive for them but I'd be pretty worried about the halves if I were a Wire fan. I don't rate Wheeler or Myler and O'Brien is nothing more then solid.
