Once upon a time I would have said he wasn't of the quality to play at NRL level. But in recent years we've seen Scott Moore, FPN etc get gigs over there. Who knows, perhaps he'll get to see his dream come true.

Is he the size of an NRL centre? He's got plenty to prove over here still IMO, not even played for England yet.
Maybe going to the NRL will help him find his level? He’ll either go there and excel and get into the England team or he’ll flop and come back to SL. He’s 21 and I don’t blame him for fancying it.

Seems like he is OOC at the end of this year (signed a 4-yr deal in 2014). How the hell have we not extended his contract in 2016 or 2017? If we let him go to the NRL for free it will be a disaster.

Maybe he didn't want to extend his contract, because he has NRL ambitions? As another poster said, can't blame him for fancying it, I just think it's a bit early for him and he may come back having not had much first team game time due to the physicality for backs over there.

Surely you don't expect an NRL club to pay a transfer fee for him?
The guy's a decent enough club player, but he's not even represented England.
