Deadwood? Players, regardless of your opinion of them have contracts so to just release somebody isn’t an option. Even if it was, I wouldn’t touch Taylor with a barge pole. He’s big and in his pomp was a decent forward but not now. He’s just been sacked by a championship side! He’s certainly no better than anybody we already have.

looked better than half of our forwards when he last played at the DW IMHO

You're joking aren't you? We stuck about 50 on them and I remember laughing at how long it was taking him to get off the deck and back into the defensive line. He is good on his day, but clearly not in the right mindset to make that happen.

Never been a Wane sort of forward. Not using that as a criticism of Wane either, but even at his best, there's no way he would fit into our system. Last few clubs suggest that he's basically semi-retired. Avoid.

We aren’t Salford, Leigh or Toronto and therefore we don’t need to get ourselves involved in the movement of ‘troubled’ players that goes on between those three clubs who’ve all looked for a quick fix at one time or another.

I think Salford and Leigh are starting to realise there’s no such thing and are trying to stay clear of these players, who drop in to their laps via disciplinary issues overseas. I’m really happy to see Toronto move so swiftly to get shut of these three as well and I hope they take it as a lesson in the types of characters they should avoid, even if they think they’ll get short term gains from it.

I’m sure we’ll stay clear anyway.

If you are looking for a few players who think they are Class A players and enjoy treating the locals to a bit of the rough stuff Taylor, Bailey and Moi Moi would be great signings.

All 3 should be blackballed from the code and never play the sport professionally again.

5yrs ago I’d have had all 3 - as would a lot of other SL clubs.

Wouldn’t touch them if we were paid too now.

What was it they were sacked for exactly?
