A well deserved reward for 10 years service and loyalty to the club. Sets a great example to all players across all of RL who go into a sulk and want away before their contracts are up!

dont understand why the rfl grant him a testimonial

thought it was ten years with 1 club then club automatically gives you a testimonial dont understand were the rfl come in

The club doesn't automatically give a testimonial. I am pretty sure Steve Hampson was a 10 year man and he and the fans were a bit miffed he didn't get one.

As to the RFL involvement isn't it because he will make money from it so without RFL permission being required that would be a nice rouse to get around the salary cap.

jesus thats a long way to get round the cap that haha
am i right in thinking his full wage wont count on cap now too? seem to remember something about that with horne at hull
