I agree you need 5 and my 5 for next year would be Fielden Feka Prescott Eamonn and Mossop before Coley. I dont see this hes the perfect 3rd choice prop at all. Id be happy to see him go, get a rough and tough character in and loan out Eamonn or Mossop.

I’ve been impressed of late by Coley and I also didn’t think he was as bad as what some made out last season either.

If Coley goes to Saints he will be a major asset to them and strengthen their massively imo. Graham, Pauleta, Mary and Coley is a very good 4 prop interchange and he’ll be playing a big role there when Graham and Pauleta go off

I’m not saying he’s a world beater but a lot of the stuff he does gets unnoticed compared to Feka or Hock and imo Coley has been our best prop this season by some distance and gone about his business quietly and effectively.

I’d take him over O’Carroll any day of the week with the view to getting LMS in the season after.

Why would he go to Saints or Wire? He'd be about 87th choice i wouldnt even imagine they would be in for him. Id let him go anywere and run with Fielden Feka Prescott Eamon and Mossop if we didnt sign a new prop.

your way off the mark. he is very underated by wigan fans. obviously people in the know recognise his stability . i agree he would propbaly be a bench player for saints but a very good one at that.

what planet are you on??? He has been better than Fielden and feka since about March? I would be pleased if he stays for another year. He is a hard working prop who gets a lot of slating on here because he is unpopular. Mossop is a liability in defence but goes forward well.

believe me they are. this is fact. maybe hard to believe for the coley bashers .
it amazes me that he can be good enough for a plave at wire or saints but not to some fans on here. he has been on form this year.

anyway I hope he signs but only on a one year deal, and with Carl Webb.

Webb
Prescott
Coley
Feka

Fielden
Mossop

Coley would be an excellent signing for both of these teams as he’s a perfect third choice prop who will do a hard stint in a team with little reward or recognition much in the same way Fozzard used to do.

He’d fit right in at Saints when Cayless leaves and with Graham, Pauleta & Mary around him he’d excel there just like Fozzard did. Same goes for Warrington if they replace Rauhihi with Coley as he’d offer some graft when Morley and Carvell go off.

Coley gets a lot of undue criticism on here for me and I’d take him on a one year deal with a further year in Wigan’s favour at the expense of O’Carroll and still try to sign Webb. We could then replace Fielden with LMS the season after meaning the loss of O’Carroll potentialy won’t be that bad to handle.

Five front line props is the way forward for me and

LMS
Webb
Coley
Feka
Prescott

Is a good line up

I think three of those five will definitely be at Wigan next season.
Fielden will still be here, not sure about Eamonn.
SAINTS THE ORIGINAL AND PERENNIAL CHEATS

For sale full Saints kit (circa 1989). Shirts in pristine condition, but shorts badly soiled.

For 27 - 0 you get a trophy
For 75 - 0 you get sod all.

Wigan had eight in a row
Saints have five in a row

So three out of this five;

LMS
Coley
Feka
Webb
Prescott

Will be at Wigan next year? Feka, Prescott and Coley possibly?

Dam you got my excited there till i read who i put down!

I still think we need Carl Webb to give us that little bit of a fear factor

To let Coley go and sign nobody would be suicide!

We're bad enough with him let alone without.

Coley to stay as starting prop, a new prop to come in and start alongside him, Feka on the bench with Prescott, O'Carroll and Fielden to fight it out for the last place most weeks with the odd ocassion us playing 5 props against the likes of Catalans to counter their big pack meaning the 3 would fight for 2 spots.

People who think Fielden isn't going to be in our 17 are seriously deluded.

you might as well stay at home next year then. coley has been offered a new contract and has to choose between wigan , wire and saints by monday where he wants to go. I believe he wants to stay at wigan. that is his first choice by a very good source. sorry cadoo but dont come next year

Well I am amazed and don't believe for a second Warrington and Saints are in for him.

I will still watch the club out of pure devotion and love for Wigan RL. But I will be bitterly disappointed that the couple of signings we are away from making us a great side again have not been made and will not be looking forward to seeing the same average players again.

I don't know why your laughing TBH. Unless your not a Wigan fan.
