We've played one game since august (when the pitch was like a bowling green), all the digging up is around the centre circle and the goal mouths, and yet its the THUGBY's (I hope the irony of this comment is never lost on anyone) fault its in that mess.

It should be pretty clear (whoops sorry, I'm assuming way too much there) that I find it funny how people can get so wound up over these things - which is the whole point of the people saying the crapola over the pitch etc in the first place.

I don't suppose anyone has tried floating the idea that with all year round usage and one of the worst winters in modern times the pitch is bound to be a bit ropey regardless of who is actually playing on it at the time?

I haven't actually said most of the things you said I have. My original post on here when to point out that essentially Latics and rugby fans are as bad as each other - as per usual it's ended up the usual anti-Latic, anti-Whelan borefest it always does with a number of people embarrassingly proving my point, brought to its conclusion by your usual ranting caricature.
