Just on the game generally, it struck me tonight that the change in Navarrete is remarkable since the beginning of the season; he has gone from 'really doesn't look as if he is good enough or fit enough' to starting prop, and quite right too. Also Escaré; we wonder if there will be a place for him at Wigan in the future, but the injection of pace from him and Gildart (who was also good) was crucial on getting us on the front foot in the second half.

All round I think that that was my favourite game of the season so far. It has everything, the pantomime villain in Hicks, the evil henchmen in Warrington and the returning hero who helped to save the day. Edge of the seat stuff.

Really pleased for Manfredi, the boy done good.

Bad news though, it looks as though Willie Isas season could be over with a fractured collarbone.
SAINTS THE ORIGINAL AND PERENNIAL CHEATS

For sale full Saints kit (circa 1989). Shirts in pristine condition, but shorts badly soiled.

For 27 - 0 you get a trophy
For 75 - 0 you get sod all.

Wigan had eight in a row
Saints have five in a row

Pleased for Dom did really well for his first game back (though at times he looked to be feeling it) - two tries will do his confidence no harm plus some good work in defence.

Escare looked dangerous when he came on against a tiring defence.

Loosing Isa is not the end of the world - Greenwood & Bateman second row with Hamlin to cover, although tough on Isa as he has been solid and done a valuable job for the team.

A real shame for Isa and us. He’s had a very good season and his intensity in big games is always very good.

Any news on Farrell yet? I know Wane commented he’s out of the Huddersfield game but he didn’t go in to any details of his scan that was due.

Really pleased for Dom. Took some big hits during the game and answered in the best possible way. To return like that after a 2 year absence shows why he has what it takes to be the best winger in the comp. Early days but a great return. Here's hoping for a long, injury free run. He deserves it!

He was due back anytime now.
Anybody know what’s going on?

Farrell is on Warrior Talk on Wigan TV. Having a scan this week and might be able to start training if healed.
