To be fair, when Leigh announced they'd signed Goodwin I tought it was a pretty uninspired signing. In the NRL he looked like a winger who could do a shift at centre in an emergency. His form has been a real eye opener to me. It strengthens my belief that the vast majority of NRL centres would improve the vast majority of any SL teams

Think Souths shifted him to centre after signing him from the dogs a few years back.
I agree, I watch the NRL weekly, the game seems faster and more skilful, the divide between the leagues (IMO) seems to be getting bigger.

100% agree. I’m not sure how much impact having 2 refs influences things but the ruck is usually so muck quicker than here. I know it’s another debate but the RFL have got to find a way of speeding the game up over here. From the point a try is scored to the point of the next kick off takes forever! The clock gets stopped 1 minute after the try is scored and most of the time the ball is t even on the tee.

Someone who doesn’t watch NRL has but I think the concencus is that they would both be good signings and if available Wigan should be going for Josh.

Surely we'd only be going for the centre. Already have depth on the wings.

They are both miles better than anything we have got at the moment, we can't deny that we have little worries over the wingers defusing bombs, apart from the ones who are currently injured. One thing that was mentioned on the Matty Johns show last week is that Canterbury would be willing to offload players and subsidise part of the wages/salary. I didn't know until they talked about him but James Graham gets more contribution from Canterbury than the team he is playing for - St George. It's not a bad deal if you can get it that way....in fact a few teams may have salary cap trouble which could lead to more subsidised options.

If we won't break the bank for Sam Tomkins there's no way we will do it for Josh Morris.

Brett is a winger or fullback, Josh is a centre we could sign both if we play Brett at fullback.

Don't see us affording both.
