He's just tweeted that the operation went well and after a few days rest he'll be back with the lads. Don't think we'll risk him now until the semi.
Despite all the forecasts of it been season ending its worth noting that Mal Alker played for Salford 15 days after undergoing an appendix removal and I think that was before keyhole surgery.

He'll be back for the semi without any doubt. It's a shame he misses a couple of games but from a Cas viewpoint, it's better it happened now then on the eve of that semi.

Hope he's back for the semi. As a rugby league fan I want star players on the pitch for all teams, and to leave them no excuses if we beat them!
